    Sailing on the Sognefjord
The Sognefjord, or “King of the Fjords,” is the longest fjord in Europe, situated between vibrant Bergen and the inaccessible Jotunheimen mountains. Carved by ice, stone, and rock during successive ice ages, it reaches depths of 1,300 meters in places and runs alongside cliffs that rise to over 2,400 meters. The fjord unfolds its many arms in a stunning landscape where the grays of the rock blend with the dense greens of the forests. A truly breathtaking landscape.
